The coastal voyage with Hurtigruten takes you along Norway’s beautiful coast from Bergen to Kirkenes.
Along with the spectacular scenery vou can visit 34 ports of all shapes and sizes and experience local culture and history. The boat leaves Bergen daily at 20:00 in summer and 22:30 in winter. The journey from Bergen to Kirkenes takes 6 days, daily arrival in Kirkenes at 09:00. Departure in Kirkenes southbound to Bergen is at 12:30.
In the northern county Finnmark the boat stops in Hammerfest, Havøysund, Honningsvåg, Kjøllefjord, Mehamn, Berlevåg, Båtsfjord, Vardø and Vadsø. The transportation of local Norwegian people and freight with Hurtigruten is still crucial for the remote northern region.
You can also take distance trips between any of the ports. The ships (except MS Lofoten) can accommodate a limited number of cars, making it easy to combine the cruise with a holiday in different places ashore.
